AI Builder Sourcing

Software built around your sourcing operation.

I build proprietary software for sourcing companies to collect supplier and product information, organize comparisons and feed their existing simulation and analysis workflows. Less repeated data entry between a client’s request and a well-supported proposal.

AI Builder Sourcing is a bespoke development service by Phelipe Xavier. We start with your process and define the software around it.

Prefer to send a project brief?

The information arrives. The work starts again.

A supplier sends a PDF. Another sends a spreadsheet. Your team copies specifications, checks what is missing and rebuilds the comparison before it can simulate costs or respond to the client. The software connects those steps so the same information can keep moving through the operation.

Build the part your operation is missing.

A focused tool or a connected workflow: the scope follows where your team loses time, repeats work or needs better visibility.

Supplier and product collection
Collect from agreed, accessible sources and documents. Keep the origin and collection date with each record so your team can trace the information.
Structured product and quote records
Extract and organize specifications, materials, dimensions, currency, price and minimum order. Flag missing or conflicting fields for review.
Comparable supplier options
Bring candidates into one comparison structure, with the criteria your team uses and the evidence behind each option.
Your simulation and analysis pipeline
Prepare exports or integrations with existing spreadsheets, APIs and systems. Preserve the company’s own cost models and approval rules.
Client and project workspaces
Build views for briefs, researched options, pending questions and proposal versions, with access appropriate to each person.
Updates that follow the operation
Define when information is collected again, which changes matter and who reviews them before the next client-facing step.

Start with a real bottleneck.

These are examples of projects we can scope together, rather than a list of ready-made integrations.

“Our team retypes every supplier quote.”

A document intake tool can extract agreed fields from PDFs and spreadsheets, retain the original file and send uncertain values to a review queue. Approved records then feed your comparison model.

“Our cost simulation starts with scattered data.”

A structured supplier and product database can supply the inputs your existing simulation needs. Units, currency and missing information are made explicit; your team keeps control of the calculation and approval criteria.

“Every client request starts from zero.”

A workspace can connect the brief, previous research and new supplier options, showing when each record was collected and what needs checking before it is reused.

A useful first version. Then a deliberate expansion.

We choose a complete, narrow workflow first. The initial scope should solve an operational problem and provide a clear basis for deciding what to build next.

  1. Map the operation

Understand the client request, information sources, people, current tools and the final deliverable.

  2. Define the first workflow

Agree on inputs, outputs, integrations, review points and acceptance criteria, with price and timing in a proposal.

  3. Build and validate

Develop against representative data you are authorized to share and test the result with the people who will use it.

  4. Put it into use

Deliver the agreed software, documentation and operating setup. Maintenance, hosting and further work follow the terms of the proposal.

Proprietary software, with the handover defined.

The proposal states what is delivered, source-code access, usage rights, hosting, documentation and maintenance. Data access and integrations are designed around your team’s permissions. Human review stays at the points that affect commercial decisions, costs and the proposal sent to your client.

Technology with an understanding of the operation.

Show me where your operation gets stuck.

Tell me how you collect and compare information today, what tools you use and what you would like to happen instead. I will review the context and get in touch to define a possible first project.

A short description is enough to begin. We discuss representative files, systems and technical access when defining the scope.

Tell me how you work today and where information gets stuck.

We agree on scope, price and timing before hiring. This request does not subscribe you to newsletters.

Questions before we build.

Do I need to replace my ERP or spreadsheets?

The starting point is your current operation. A project can prepare structured exports or connect to existing systems, depending on access, technical feasibility and the agreed scope.

Where does AI fit?

AI can support extraction, translation, classification and information retrieval where it helps the workflow. Validation, permissions and clear review points remain part of the software. The tool is chosen for the task.

Can it collect data from any supplier website?

Collection depends on the selected source, available access and permissions. We assess websites, documents, catalogs and APIs during scoping, then agree on the sources the software will support.

Do you guarantee savings or financial results?

Acceptance is based on agreed functions and a tested workflow. We can define operational measures together, such as processing time and completeness, then measure them against your starting point.

How much does a project cost?

The proposal depends on the workflow, sources, integrations and delivery scope. Development, third-party services, hosting and ongoing support are described before hiring.
